Cedar Crest College mourns the loss of Gloria Steinem, a trailblazing voice for women’s rights and equality whose impact spans generations. 💛

Steinem’s connection to Cedar Crest dates back to the 1960s, when she first visited campus to speak with our students. She returned decades later in 2012 as the keynote speaker for the Lehigh Valley Women’s Summit, inspiring generations to continue the work of advancing equality and creating change.

We are grateful for the moments she shared with Cedar Crest and for the generations of women she inspired to speak up, challenge expectations, and create change.

Her voice and her legacy will continue to inspire us. ✨️
