Another reason to be proud to be a Mule! Muhlenberg College has been named one of NICHE’s Best Colleges in America. 🐴✨
The college was also ranked nationally by the publication in categories that included college food, residence halls, performing arts, liberal arts, colleges for student-athletes, professors, and academics, including separate rankings for programs in media and communication, English, environmental science, history, political science, public health, accounting, and finance.

A new chapter officially begins. 📖
Incoming students sign their name, hometown, and the date into Muhlenberg’s Matriculation Ledger, signifying their entry into the college. At Muhlenberg, ledger signing started as early as 1885 and continued through 1955 or so. It was reinstated as a tradition in 2002.

Candle-lighting is one of Muhlenberg’s most meaningful traditions. 🕯️
During Welcome Weekend, students gather to light candles as a symbol of the journey they embark on, individually and together. As seniors, they will do the same, reflecting on where the journey has taken them.

These bookends are a reminder of the strength and connection found in the Muhlenberg community.

Once a Mule, always a Mule. ❤️🫏
As the incoming class joins the Muhlenberg community, alumni come back each year to present them with scarves as they walk into the student welcome session on day one. The scarves represent the stoles they will wear at the end of their Muhlenberg journey, reminding them that no matter where they go, they’ll always be part of the pack.
