Lil Ranger Charlotte ❤️

Charlotte is the daughter of Antonio and Kylee Loustaunau. Antonio was a member of the Ranger baseball team and graduated in 2019 with his Bachelor of Arts in general studies. Kylee was a member of the Ranger soccer team and graduated in 2019 with her Bachelor of Science in nursing. The Ranger legacy continues to grow.

The Mildred Byrum Dillon and Victor H. Dillon Memorial Scholarship was created by their daughter, Anne Ott.

“It is inspiring to have people like Anne Ott who want to honor their parents in such a positive way by helping our students reach their potential,” said Dr. Hannaford, Northwestern president. “This will be a great scholarship opportunity for our math students and I appreciate Anne so much for thinking of them.”

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating our retiring faculty and staff at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. It was a special time to reflect on their years of dedication, hard work and the lasting impact they have made on our campus and students. We are grateful for their service and wish them all the best as they begin this next chapter.

The 2026 retirees include:
Dr. Kaylene Armstrong, Professor of Mass Communication, 11 years
Dr. James Bell, Vice President for Academic Affairs, 14 years
Jaunita Dotson, Upward Bound Director, 18 years
Dr. Roger Hardaway, Professor of History, 36 years (the longest-serving professor in Northwestern history)
Dean Kilgore, Custodian, 30.5 years
Markangela Kinnett, Secretary/Health and Safety Assistant, 20 years
Matthew McGuire, Maintenance, 14.5 years
Natalie Miller, Assistant Certification Officer, Division of Education, 34 years
Dr. Venkata Moorthy, Professor of Biology, 31 years
Kimberly Weast, Professor of Theatre Arts, 24 years

Collectively, these retirees have served Northwestern for 233 years.
