here’s a little recap of this year’s annual retreat. needless to say the vibes were immaculate. thank you to those who joined us and for those who were not able to make it, we hope you can join us next year!

HELLO BEAUTIFUL

We’re SO excited to announce our first event of the semester!!!!! “For Coloured Girls Workshop” is planned to be one of our biggest turnouts of the semester- whether you join us in person or online, YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS IT!

This Tuesday we will be hosting a collaborative event with CEO and Creator of .samone_ Jassma’ray Johnson! We’ve created an entire workshop designed for students who identify as Womxn with an emphasis on BIPOC students centering Black womxn.

This event will be free to the public and take place this Tuesday (the 16th) from 5pm-8pm. The location will be released early tomorrow and will be streamed over zoom for those who still want to participate virtually!

Here’s a gentle recommendation to get tested before going home for winter break! If you would like to be tested for COVID-19 on campus make an appointment before November 24th! Johnny’s at Hilton Coliseum (east side) will close November 24th and reopen January 11, 2021. Thielen Student Health Center will be open during this timeframe and will be doing COVID testing. Have a safe and well deserved break Cyclones!

We are happy to confirm that the Womxn of Colour Network Graduation will still be taking place virtually this year. Please register for the Graduation on the Sloss Website and be virtually recognized. We are creating a yearbook that features all the graduates with messages from some important support systems on campus.
