Kappa Delta is confidence to be your best and realize your dreams with the support of a national sisterhood that is there for you every step of the way. It's $10.6 million given to prevent child abuse and lending hearts and hands to the Girl Scouts of
the USA with self-esteem workshops and leadership seminars. We hope you'll keep in touch with KD to learn more about who we are and how we are continuing to serve the Iowa State community! The purpose of Kappa Delta Sorority is to promote true friendship among the college girls of our country by inculcating into their hearts and lives those principles of truth, of honor, of duty, without which there can be no true friendship. The object of Kappa Delta Sorority is the formation and perpetuation of good fellowship, friendship and sisterly love among its members; the encouragement of literature and education; the promotion of social interest; and the furtherance of charitable and benevolent purposes. Kappa Delta's Sigma Sigma chapter was founded at Iowa State University on April 11, 1908. In September 2012, we rebuilt the foundation of the chapter to ensure our future success, and our newest members are excited to start new traditions and continue the great things we are doing at Iowa State University. Everyday our members focus on living out Kappa Delta's open motto: Ta Kala Diokomen - "Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest."
