Tonight at 6:30pm in 2234 Bessey Hall! The Criminal Justice Club and the Iowa State Patrol are hosting an information session for Women that are interested in a career in law enforcement. At this event you will be able to meet female officers from a variety of different departments. They will be discussing law enforcement academy settings, entrance standards, ways to prepare, and the nuances of being a woman in this career field. Pizza and pop will be provided! I was notified about some job openings with Motor Vehicle Enforcement. There are 13 different openings within the department with 4 county postings for each of them. This means you would have to live in one of the four counties listed for that position (reference the chart below). This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $53,934.40.
