On February 5th, the Economics Club had the opportunity to hear from three incredible alumni during a panel on the current state of the U.S. economy. From tariffs and rising federal deficits to new Federal Reserve leadership, immigration policy, and how economic data is shared, the discussion connected classroom theory to real-world impact.

A huge thank you to the panelists:
• Katharine G. Abraham, President of the American Economic Association & former Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics
• Benjamin A. Malin, Vice President in the Research Division at the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank
• Genevieve Signoret, President & Head of Asset Allocation at TransEconomics.

Thank you to everyone who showed up! Your engagement made the discussion even better. 👏
