Primary Recruitment registration is here!!

The ISU Collegiate Panhellenic Council is so excited to host Primary Recruitment this fall on August 16th-22nd!

Potential New Member (PNM) move-in to residence halls is on August 16th. Primary Recruitment rounds start Saturday, August 17th and conclude with Bid Day on Thursday, August 22nd.

Primary Recruitment is an exciting, unique opportunity to meet all 16 chapters in the Collegiate Panhellenic Council at Iowa State University. Register today and become a part of our amazing community!

150 years ago today Delta Gamma was founded at Lewis School for Girls. Iowa state was delighted to receive the Eta Psi chapter in 2017. Since then their members have been enthusiastic members of our community and we are forever grateful 🤩💕

There are 17 members of that deserve special thanks for the work they did in 2023. To our presidents, our community thanks you for everything you did, every choice you made, and every time you were there to support us. We thank you for genuinely caring for each member in our community. Your work this year did not go unnoticed and you’re bound to do amazing things in your future 🤩💕🥰

At the end of this semester we had the wonderful opportunity to host an event for our Seniors who joined our community during COVID in 2020 and 2021. This event was a formal complete with music, brunch, superlatives, and serenades from a few wonderful fraternities.
We are so grateful for the help everyone gave to give these seniors their “missed firsts”.

We want to thank DJ Q for donating his time and amazing music to our event.

A huge thank you to and for the lovely serenades

And an even bigger thank you to our amazing seniors for the time, energy, and love they have given our amazing community the past four years.

135 years ago today at Boston University Delta Delta Delta was founded. Iowa State was lucky enough to receive the Omega Delta chapter in 1912. Since then they have been incredible members of our community.

📣PHILANTHROPY FEATURE 📣
Today at 5:15, Alpha Phi is hosting their philanthropy APhi Heart Throb in the Memorial Union great hall in Ames! Join Alpha Phi to support the men of the Interfraternity Council as they compete for the title of APhi Heart Throb and raise money for the Alpha Phi Foundation.

The Alpha Phi Foundation funds education and research about heart disease in women, heart disease looks different in women than in men, so it is important to stay educated, spread awareness, and donate!.

149 years ago today Sigma Kappa was founded at Colby College in Maine. The Alpha Epsilon chapter joined Iowa State in 1921 and they have been loved for their positive influence on our community every since.

📣PHILANTHROPY FEATURE 📣
Today from 5 pm to 9 pm, Chi Omega is hosting their philanthropy Chi O Corndogs at their house, 227 Gray Avenue in Ames! Join Chi Omega to eat delicious corn dogs and support their philanthropy The Liz Kirke Foundation.

Liz Kirke was a graphic design student at Iowa State, and an active member of Chi Omega, when she was diagnosed with a heart condition called pulmonary hypertension. During January of her senior year, Liz sadly passed away. To honor her memory, all of the money raised at Chi O Corndogs goes toward a scholarship that is given to a design student at Iowa State.
