ine Teaching farm produces about 200 litters a year, from which both market and breeding stock are sold. This herd has become well known for its high meat quality Berkshire pigs, which have won many state and national awards. Sold into many states, these Berkshires have been exported to a number of foreign countries. Managed by Al Christian for nearly fifty years before his retirement in 2010, this farm provides an environment for observation and learning.
