The objectives of SNMA-MAPS are to foster a close relationship among under-represented, pre-medical and pre-health students, faculty at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with medical professionals to encourage leadership and acquaint students with the requirements necessary for pursuing the medical and pre-health profession. Our Philosophy: Any active member regardless race, color, na
tional origin, religion, sex, gender identity (including gender expression), sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, political beliefs, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, shall receive access to all resources and opportunities provided by SNMA-MAPS in hopes of helping them achieve their future goals and aspirations in any medical or health related field.
