UMass Mutual Aid Project An anti-capitalist mutual aid project at UMass, focused on community-building and reciprocity.

The goal of the UMass Mutual Aid Project (MAP) is to create a welcoming environment where Amherst community members can participate in a mutual aid space and build relationships with one another. We hope to facilitate an anti-capitalist exchange of goods and services, ultimately aiming for participants to be able to envision how these practices can be foundational in society and in building an ant

i-capitalist world. We hope to project the message of “ from each according to their ability, to each according to their needs” and delve deeper into this concept in future events.

Hello everyone!

The Mutual Aid Project is back! We're having our first Thing Swap of the semester this Friday, February 17th. It's on the 5th floor of Goodell Hall (the level where you walk in), in the Lounge from 3:30-5:30 pm. Take what you need and leave what you don't, or simply come by for snacks, games, and lots of fun!
