I maintained and updated candidate and industry data within our systems, ensured data integrity, and managed ongoing data‑entry and data‑quality projects. From this experience, I learned how executive search operates behind the scenes and built skills I’m excited to carry forward in my career!"

Internships are a vital part of many Honors scholars' education, extending their learning far beyond the classroom.

This summer, finance student and Honors Scholar Katia Moldoch interned with Paylocity, a cloud-based software company that provides payroll and human capital management, and attended the company’s 2026 Internship Summit in Schaumburg, Illinois. It did not disappoint. Katia connected with fellow interns, heard from company leaders about their career journeys, and walked away with a deeper understanding of Paylocity’s business model.

In addition to earning Honors Experience credits, internships give students like Katia the chance to grow professionally and build relationships that last well beyond the summer.
