An internationally recognized Sport Management Program housed in the Isenberg School of Management In 2010 we renamed our program in honor of Mark H.

We are proud of our more than 40 year history as an innovative educator in the sport management industry. We are among only a handful of sport management programs based in a professional business school and our curriculum values theory and experiential industry experience in equal measure. Further, our faculty are internationally recognized for their cutting-edge research and industry experience.

We consider ourselves the business school for sports business. Upon graduation, our students join an extended professional family of over 6,000 McCormack alumni. Representing every sector and stratum of the sport management industry, they offer their fellow graduates and current McCormack students unparalleled career networking, industry intelligence, and internship/job placements. McCormack, the founder of IMG, the industry’s leading sport, entertainment, and media agency. We house the Mark H. McCormack archive, a one-of-a-kind repository that chronicles four decades of milestones in the sport management industry. Like our namesake, we have continued to learn much from that ground-breaking past. Be it research or teaching, we are driven and inspired through continuous innovation in the sport industry.

McCormack 🤝 UMass Baseball

McCormack faculty enjoyed Marc Willi's Honors Thesis final presentation this morning. Marc, a member of the and teams identified a market need in Switzerland – and Europe more broadly – for baseball performance training centers. While Marc is a finance major, he tapped McCormack faculty member Dr. Dietrich as his advisor. Working together, Marc assembled a business plan about launching such a facility to satisfy his Honors requirements. Well done, Marc!
