The UMassAmherst campus is an essential part of the heart of Western Massachusetts' "Happy Valley". And on Wednesday, April 29th at 1pm, Senior Campus Planner and Architect Ludmilla Pavlova-Gillham, FAIA, LEED AP BD&C will lead a walking tour of campus facilities surrounding the Campus Pond that will highlight how architecture, landscape, and campus life have evolved over the course of UMass' history.
The tour begins at the South lobby of the Randolph W. Bromery Center for the Arts and will follow an accessible path around the campus pond, discussing the architecture of the Bromery Fine Arts Center, Whitmore Hall, Herter Hall, Goodell, Old Chapel, South College, W.E.B. DuBois Library, Student Union, Lincoln Campus Center and Integrative Learning Center buildings, and ends at the Olver Design Building.
Discover how these spaces shape the everyday experience of learning, gathering, and community on campus.
