Tonight begins our social festivities celebrating the chartering of Proposed Kila Grotto! We have limited our events this weekend due to the incoming adverse weather conditions, so please look over the revised itinerary for the weekend!

Friday:

6-11 PM - Blue Hill To***co Cigar Social - (BYOB & ladies welcome) this will be our meeting point, we may have an after party at The Barn if it is open!

Saturday:

8-9 AM - Breakfast/Coffee Social at Anahuac Masonic Lodge #995 AF & AM
9-1130 AM - Charter Ceremony/ Open Instillation
12 PM-? Lunch (Location TBD)

To all Kila Grotto Members,

It is with an abundance of caution that I have asked for us to reduce of schedule of events for this upcoming weekend. We will have a get together on Friday Night but we have moved the location to the Blue Hill To***co. On Saturday we will still meet at Anahuac Lodge at 8 am – 9 am for coffee and donuts then we will conduct our Chartering Ceremony, Obligations of new members, and Installation. All but one Grand Officer from Supreme and the Chinar Degree Team has cancelled due to weather. Your Ladies are welcome to join us at the Lodge because we will not have a separate Ladies Brunch. They will be invited to join us for the Chartering Ceremony but asked to leave the room shortly for the obligations and rejoin us for the installation where they will place the Fez on our heads.

After the installation we will try to pick a restaurant that is open to have lunch then all be on our separate ways. We have an agreement with Luna’s to without charge to reschedule our event for a later date. We will have this event in the future and will hold the tickets unless you request a refund. Please send an email to [email protected] if you would like a refund on the dinner ticket.

Mark my words we will figure out a way to have a redo of this weekend and Chinar has agreed they will come back out to put on the degree. We will still have a good time just be a little cold.
I regret that we must do this but we really need at minimum the Officers to attend to receive the Charter. If you an Officer to be installed and can not make it please send a regret to [email protected]

Please remember you and your family’s safety is a much higher priority then attending, use your best judgement in attending this event.

We are honored to welcome the Chinar Grotto Degree Team, who will confer the Grotto Degree for all Master Masons wishing to become Grotto Members on the day of the ceremony.

⚔️ All Master Masons will also have the opportunity to receive the Sword of Bunker Hill Degree, conferred by the Texas Order of Sword of Bunker Hill - San Jacinto Order, with a $30 degree fee paid directly to the Order.

🎩 Charter Members will receive a special Charter Member fez and be forever recorded in Kila Grotto history. To ensure your fez arrives in time, charter dues must be submitted by December 31st.

🍂 Charter Weekend offers plenty of social activities for Ladies, family, and friends, including the Blue Hill To***co Social Hour and the Banquet After Party at The Whiskey Barn.
