Known for both intellectual rigor and genuine care for his students, he has inspired and shaped countless lives inside and outside the classroom. 👏🎓

A respected New Testament scholar and dedicated servant-leader, Dr. Winkle’s influence extends throughout the PUC community. Whether teaching, mentoring, preaching, or serving alongside colleagues, he brings wisdom, integrity, compassion, and a Christ-centered spirit to everything he does. ✨🙏💚

It's Volunteer Appreciation Month, and we can't miss the opportunity to share our gratitude for our exceptional group of volunteers who share their time and skills to help us care for our community.

Our Volunteers are not just helping hands; they are the heartbeat woven through the entire fabric of this hospital community.

Through the years, our volunteers have contributed thousands of hours of service, supporting patients, families, and staff across the hospital. Last year alone, our 55 active volunteers have given 5,870 total hours.

From the gracious care of the Cancer Center Welcome Desk Team to our Volunteer Ambassadors who guide and assist throughout the campus, to the Big Oak Gift Shop’s Bloom Brigade who create moments of comfort and connection, also the Spiritual Care Volunteers who provide comfort during the most difficult moments, our volunteers bring so much light.

And don’t forget our Friendship Paws Pet Therapy Teams who bring joy in their purest form, their impact is both measurable and deeply human. In 2025 alone, our pet therapy brought much-needed joy and paw-sitivity through 410 per therapy visits!

While we can absolutely point to the numbers, what matters most lives in the moments of connection, compassion and service. Join us in sharing our gratitude for our amazing volunteers!
