Join us on October 8 for an open house celebrating the release of "Abounding Grace: Theological Essays on Paul and Romans," a new book honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Myron Houghton.

The open house will take place from 4:30–5:30 p.m. Several of the authors will be on campus to meet guests, and light refreshments will be served. The event will also highlight Dr. Houghton’s lasting impact on the Regular Baptist movement.

All guests are also invited to our Friends of Faith Banquet at 6:00 p.m.

In Part 2 of "The 'New Perspective' and Justification," Dr. Paul Hartog examines three additional facets of N. T. Wright’s “New Perspective” on justification. He considers Wright’s views on final judgment according to works, the ordo salutis, and justification, while highlighting how a Dispensational position differs from both Wright and Reformed theology.

Last Saturday, our seminary students, faculty, and families gathered for our annual Seminary Picnic!

We enjoyed a great afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun as we kicked off another semester together. We’re grateful for the opportunity to step away from the classroom, build relationships, and enjoy our unity in Christ at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary.

Many of the authors will be on campus from 4:30–5:30 p.m. for a meet-and-greet and light refreshments. Come meet the authors and celebrate the release of this new volume honoring Dr. Houghton!

What is the New Perspective on Paul, and how does it differ from traditional views of justification?

In Part 1 of this article, Dr. Paul Hartog examines the New Perspective’s approach to the gospel and justification, focusing particularly on the views of N. T. Wright. As he compares these ideas with Reformed and Dispensational theology, he highlights the important differences at stake. He writes,

“The gospel certainly does include the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, but it also includes His death ‘for our sins.’”
