ArtsEngine’s mission is to deepen and enrich the Michigan experience by providing a framework in which curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and passion are engaged through interdisciplinary teaching, learning, research, and community. We do this by promoting, expanding, and enhancing programs and initiatives through which students and faculty develop as interdisciplinary thinkers, outcome-driven

The Faculty Engineering/Arts Student Teams (FEAST) program is open to all undergraduate and graduate students and currently offers 11 opportunities to engage with a wide variety of faculty-led research projects with a collaborative interdisciplinary student team for course credit — starting in Winter 2026. FEAST research projects span some combination of the arts, design, engineering, information, and technology, leading to activities, skills, and outcomes that are creative, innovative, and transformative.

Learn firsthand from faculty and student team members at the FEAST Project Fair! Applications for FEAST projects are due October 12.
