Our partners at SAE International are offering two battery manufacturing training courses at no cost to Michigan industry professionals this summer.

Developed as part of the Michigan Defense Resiliency Consortium (MDRC) Workforce Development initiative, these courses are designed to support Michigan's growing battery manufacturing workforce through hands-on learning and industry-informed training.

In support of the Michigan Vehicle Technology Transition Impact Project (MiVTTP) - a partnership between the Economic Growth Institute and Michigan Clean Cities - the Workforce Intelligence Network is conducting a survey to better understand current and future workforce needs related to electric vehicles, clean energy, and advanced mobility technologies in the Lansing region (Clinton, Eaton & Ingham Counties).

If you’re an employer, HR professional, workforce leader, or regional partner, your input will help validate hiring demand, skill gaps, and workforce challenges, so regional training and education investments align with what employers actually need.
