Graduate Student Community Organization - umich, SOE The primary mission of the GSCO is to cultivate the constant improvement of graduate student support, representation, and communication within the SOE.

All graduate students in the School of Education are members of the Graduate Student Community Organization (GSCO). The leadership committee is composed of 13 students who are representative of all the programs within the School of Education. This group coordinates all GSCO activities, in which all students may take part. The GSCO acts as an umbrella organization for other student groups at SOE an

d sends student advisors to faculty governance committees. The primary mission of the GSCO is to cultivate the constant improvement of graduate student support, representation, and communication within the School of Education. It strives to strengthen the relationships among graduate students within and across programs in the school, to facilitate information sharing among graduate students, school administration, faculty, and staff, and to support graduate students in the sometime tortuous process of attaining their degree.
