University of Michigan Conceptual Development Lab We are directed by Dr. Susan Gelman at the University of Michigan Psychology Department studying language and thought in children ages 2 through 10!

Our projects explore cognitive development, category formation and use, causal reasoning, and relationships between language and thought. Most of our studies focus on children
