Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan offers affordable tuition rates, high-quality classes and over 130 different certificate and degree options. More than 18,000 students register for credit classes each year, and thousands more enroll in non-credit Personal Enrichment and Workforce Development classes. WCC’s diverse student body includes more than 1,000 students from over 100 forei

gn countries. The average class size at WCC is 22 students. That’s a fraction of the size of many basic classes at four-year colleges and universities. WCC also emphasizes convenience. We offer classes seven days a week, at night, and online. And transferring is easy because WCC has agreements with four-year schools throughout Michigan. From old school body work to incorporating modern EV technology, the transformation of a 1974 VW Thing is officially underway. ⚡🚗

Students in WCC’s Transportation Technologies programs are getting hands-on experience bringing the classic vehicle into the electric age. The final product is expected to debut at the 2027 Detroit Auto Show and Autorama.
