How can journalists responsibly report on Europe's evolving migration politics?

Knight-Wallace Fellows Ismail Einashe, Jedrzej Slodkowski, and Sarah Souli will participate in a panel discussion addressing the rollback of protections for migrants by European governments. Ismail Einashe, a Knight-Wallace Fellow, will present a personal exploration of how art can reclaim the humanity of migrants and their stories.

Drawing on a decade of reporting on migration, along with his own experiences, he will recontextualize the migrant experience and demonstrate how art can bring us closer together.

His signed book, "Strangers," will be available for purchase at the event.

The Knight-Wallace Fellows embarked on an exciting journey to South Africa! โœˆ๏ธ ๐ŸŒ

The Fellows took it all inโ€“ exploring history, politics and the local media landscape.

During the trip, Fellows connected with journalists and changemakers from diverse fields, visited historic sites including the Apartheid Museum and the Constitutional Court, and connected with journalists in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
