As the school year draws to a close, BardEATS and Bard Dining celebrate two semesters of keeping our community both well-fed and sustainable, while having lots of fun along the way. Some of our most ambitious projects took place this past year, with ventures like our Parents’ Weekend events, the November Community Market, and the Northeast Student Food and Farm Conference bringing hundreds of family members, local vendors, and fellow students to our campus. Other initiatives saw the revisiting and improving of beloved BardEATS staples, such as the competitive Race 2 Zero Waste, the upkeep of the Ish Thomas herb garden, or our robust Global Cuisines program. We have enjoyed every step of the way this past year, and we hope to continue our mission of sustainability and equity in the fall with the same enthusiasm and commitment. We look forward to seeing you all again in September!
