The 60th Annual Henderson State University Band Camp is June 16-20! We still have spots available for all age groups including:

1st year musicians
2nd and 3rd year musicians
Sr. High Musicians

Conductors of each band include:

Junior High I - Susan Ford - Director at Cabot Junior High South

Junior High II - Dr. Teresa McCraney - Director at Lakeside Junior High

Sr. High - Monty Hill - Director of Bands at HSU

Sr. High Jazz - Mr. Carl McCraney - Director at Lakeside Junior High

We will also have in residence the outstanding Mt. Pleasant TX HS Jazz Band with Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame clinician and the Director of the HSU Jazz Band I, Gary Meggs!

This is an amazing fast paced camp that is full of super fun activities led by our new Director of Camp Entertainment, Grant Smith, Band Director at Sheridan.

Dr. Lipton went to Bearden last week and had a blast working with their brass students! HSU alum Mr. Shawn Ray is doing great things with this band!

What a great morning working with the Jessieville High School Choir! Big thanks to Henderson alum Kaitlyn Byrd for welcoming me into her classroom. It was exciting to meet with some fantastic young singers (and hopefully future Reddies) today!
