🎉 Faculty Announcement 🎉

We are excited to welcome Dr. Robert Loper to the Department of Counseling at Ouachita Baptist University as an Assistant Professor of Counseling.

Dr. Loper recently completed his PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University. His dissertation, “Perfectionism, Impostor Phenomenon, and Burnout in Counselor Education and Supervision Students,” examined critical factors influencing counselor formation and wellbeing within faith-integrated training contexts.

With nearly three decades of experience in counseling, higher education, and ministry, Dr. Loper brings particular strengths in addiction counseling, career development, and preparing counselors for ethical, competent clinical practice.

We are grateful to welcome Dr. Loper to our growing graduate counseling faculty and look forward to the depth of experience and mentorship he brings to our students.
