Cutler, Nenninger named August Male and Female Athletes of the Month

Starting their collegiate careers with a bang, Cowley College freshmen Theo Cutler and Addison Nenninger were recently named the schools August Male and Female Athletes of the Month.
Cutler is a member of the No. 3-ranked Cowley College men’s soccer team and Nenninger is the setter for the No. 2-ranked Lady Tiger volleyball team.

Cutler posted a season-opening hat trick in Cowley’s 9-1 road win over Lamar Community College. The business administration major is a talented forward who came to Cowley from Dorchester, England.

Nenninger averaged 10.85 assists per set across four matches against NJCAA competition and recorded at least 30 assists in all four matches for Cowley at the Wrangler/Ranger Round Up Tournament in Texas. The freshman had double-doubles in each of the last three matches of the week and added 10 kills on a .320 hitting percentage. At the service line, Nenninger dished up 12 aces for a 0.92 service ace per set average while providing 35 digs and four blocks on the defensive end. The elementary education major came to Cowley from Breese, Illinois.
