UTA Department of Theatre Arts Department of Theatre Arts and Dance at The University of Texas at Arlington UTA is located in the DFW metroplex between Fort Worth and Dallas.

Maverick Theatre Company is the production company for the Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Texas at Arlington. We offer a BA degree in Theatre Arts as well as BFA degrees in Performance, Musical Theatre, Design & Technical Production and Theatre Studies.
