Phi Delta Theta was the first fraternity to be established at UT Arlington in 1968. Here at UTA, Phi Delta Theta strives for the best and has been very successful academically, socially, and athletically on campus.Being a Phi Delta isn't just about being in a Frate

rnity during college, it provides you with a seemingly endless supply of connections and benefits for when you enter the real world. Some of the most prestigious men in history were brothers of Phi Delta Theta and we want you to become a part of this great Fraternity and leave your mark just as they have left theirs. Additionally, many successful individuals come from the Texas Kappa chapter of Phi Delta Theta here at UTA. They include Chris Cagle (country music singer), Doug Russell (Olympic gold medal swimmer), Tim Steggall (recently signed to the Texas Rangers minor league affiliate) and Randy Ford (owner of J.Gilligan's which was featured on the Travel Channel for its world famous Irish Nacho's). We have also enjoy strong relations with our alumni, who helped us to complete over $50,000 in renovations just this past semester. Our alumni have also started a scholarship program awarding scholarships up to $1,000 for new and active members. During the fall we initiated ten new members to boost our membership to the highest total in nearly a decade. We invite everyone to check out what our chapter is all about, through our new website, our Facebook or twitter, and in person at any number of events held throughout the semester. With everything going on with Texas kappa, this is a great time to be associated with the best IFC chapter at UT Arlington. New traditions are being set every day and new leaders are developed at Phi Delta Theta. It's time to leave your legacy and become the greatest version of yourself. Yesterday morning, the men of the Texas Kappa Chapter volunteered at our local Buddy Walk to support the Down Syndrome Partnership as well as the local Down Syndrome community. It was truly a great experience for all of us, and we hope we will be able to do it again next year! Huge thanks to all the brothers and other volunteers who came out!
