Arlington Career Center TV Production

Arlington Career Center TV Production The program is divided into three parts:
1) live studio production
2) video shoot-edit
3) multimedia production.

Television and Multimedia Production at the Arlington Career Center is an
award-winning, state-of-the-art program teaching students the latest techniques in digital media production. Students build skills through hands-on exercises that include dramatic videos, radio spots, music videos, commercials, talk shows and
even feature-length movies. ACC is part of the Governors Career and Technical Aca

demy Arlington (GCTAA). It is a joint project of Arlington Public Schools and Northern Virginia Community College that encourages Arlington Public Schools (APS) high school students to pursue Academy pathways and earn college credit while still in high school.

Lina Barclay and Ellie Nix, two Arlington Tech graduates from the Arlington Career Center, won the first-place gold medal in the Television (Video) Production contest at the annual National Leadership and Skills Conference and SkillsUSA Championships in Atlanta.

The Arlington Student Filmfest is celebrating its 5th year and will take place this Saturday from 9am to 4pm at HB Woodlawn. It features 150 short films made by 350 students across Arlington, including ACC TV students.

Elementary films will be shown from 9-10:15, middle school from 10:15-12:00, and high school from 12-3:15.
