Dr. Alicia Rueda-Acedo (Modern Languages) has been selected to serve on the Wiki Education Foundation’s Humanities & Social Justice Advisory Committee.
The committee supports a national initiative, in partnership with the Mellon Foundation, to improve Wikipedia’s coverage of historically marginalized communities.

Through her teaching, Dr. Rueda-Acedo also engages students in contributing to publicly accessible knowledge through Wikipedia-based assignments.
