Take classes at Anne Arundel Community College if you are looking to earn your Pool and Spa Operator certification or to become re-certified! Gain the knowledge and skills needed to take the pool and spa operators certification exam. Learn about regulations, maintenance, filter systems, chemicals and forms.

Online course meets the active Maryland’s Public Swimming Pool Regulations as designated by the Maryland State Department of Health to obtain for Pool Operator license. Offered in partnership with Aquatic Training & Consulting Service LLC. Students will be contacted after registering with instructions on how to digitally access the course and required course materials.

Re-certification prerequisites: email Laura Howard, [email protected], a copy of your current county Pool Operator license or a Certificate of Completion from a state-approved Pool and Spa Operation Training Program taken within the past three years to receive permission to register (exclude any birthdate or other confidential/sensitive information before sending).

AACC’s Radio Frequency Spectrum Management program is preparing a new section to start September 6th!

The Radio Frequency Spectrum Management training course is an online, noncredit course designed for new and experienced spectrum managers and others who deal with spectrum-related matters. The course is comprehensive, covering the legal, regulatory and technical aspects of spectrum management in an easy-to-understand format. It's an ideal training resource for professionals working in related fields as engineers, software developers, system and network planners and technicians.

Our Pre-apprenticeship Electrical program is designed to prepare you to enter and succeed in a registered electrical apprenticeship
program. You will learn from an industry professional while participating in classroom and online instruction with hands-on lab
training. Along with gaining valuable industry knowledge, you will obtain OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid certifications while preparing

OPA- 379 Pool and Spa Operation - Gain the knowledge and skills needed to take the pool and spa operator's certification exam and run a facility. Learn about regulations, maintenance, filter systems, chemicals and forms. CEUs issued. $175 includes $145 fee. Note: Online course meets the active Maryland’s Public Swimming Pool Regulations as designated by the Maryland State Department of Health to obtain for Pool Operator license. Offered in partnership with Aquatic Training & Consulting Service LLC. Students will be contacted after registering with instructions on how to digitally access the course and required course materials.

Licenses issued in 2022 expire in 2025.

Start your career in truck driving by earning your commercial driver's license (CDL): either the CDL-A required for driving heavy trucks and tractor-trailers, or the CDL-B required for driving straight trucks, dump trucks, passenger buses and motor coaches. Classes are now being offered at AACC in Arnold!
