On behalf of the Northeastern Region Board of Directors, we celebrate the extraordinary life and homegoing of Soror Araminta Eldridge Anderson (Phi Sigma Chapter), who has transitioned into the Omega Rho Chapter.

Centenarian Soror Anderson lived a remarkable 103 years. Initiated at Howard University (Alpha Chapter) in 1943, her decades of dedication and sisterhood leave a lasting mark on our Region.

We extend our deepest sympathies and love to her family, loved ones, and the sorors of the Phi Sigma Chapter. Rest in eternal peace in Omega Rho, Soror.

Funeral arrangements for Soror Anderson are as follows:

The Northeastern Regional Board of Directors honors the remarkable life and service of Cultured Pearl Soror Alice Sue Cooper-Lee (Alpha Alpha Sigma Chapter) as she takes her place in the Omega Rho Chapter.

Cultured Pearl Cooper-Lee gave over 60 years of dedicated service to Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Her leadership as a former Basileus, 4-year International Protocol Chair, two-time Regional & National Sigma of the Year, and mentor to over 100 Sorors leaves an unforgettable mark on our Region and Sorority.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, loved ones, and the sorors of the Alpha Alpha Sigma Chapter. May she rest in eternal peace in Omega Rho.
