Position Details:
🕒 Hours and Shifts: Flexible, generally 8- to 9-hour shifts between 0600 and 1900.
🗓️ Days: Clinical rotation days vary and are flexible.
🏥 Clinical Areas: Medical Surgical, Pediatrics, Gerontology Critical or Acute Care, Maternal Newborn, Mental Health.
💵 Hourly Pay Rate: Begins at $31.88, negotiable based on qualifications, experience, duties, and responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:
🎓 BSN Required, MSN in Nursing Education preferred.
🏥 Current Acute Care Experience.
👩‍⚕️ RN with unrestricted North Carolina nursing license.
⌛ Minimum of two years full-time experience in clinical patient care.
📜 Nursing Education Certification in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing Faculty Standards within 3 years of employment.

Our Radiography and Nursing students recently took part in an interdisciplinary simulation activity. The Nursing students practiced transporting a stroke patient to the X-ray department for additional testing, working with Radiography students to move the patient safely. Then each group learned more about the types of imaging that would be done and how those would be used to continue to treat the patient.
