We are EPIC Events: Event Planning Involvement Committee for SOU students. We are the student Event Planning Involvement Committee (EPIC).

As a group of students planning events for students we are very interested to know what YOU want! If you have any ideas that you would like to see here on campus please feel free to contact us!

Our first event of the term is coming up on September 25th! From 8PM - 12PM, join EPIC in the SU Arena and Diversions downstairs for GLOWFEST, a neon night of dancing to kick off the year.

This year’s theme is CRYSTAL CAVERN so glitter and gems are encouraged 💎✨

The first 115 to RSVP on HawkNest will also receive a free t-shirt so use the link in our bio to RSVP and get yours.

Surprise!!!! Our first official Spring Carnival!!

Here’s a rundown for y’all 😉
- The carnival is free for students! For non-SOU people, there is a $10 fee
- We have a ton of attractions! A bunch of carnival games, an obstacle course, jousting games, and so much more! We also have laser tag, face painting, and tarot card readings available! (All free!) (there’s even a dunk tank where your favorite faculty members can be dunked 🤫)
- Do you think we’d forget about live performances? We have a student performer to kick off our evening, followed by a local band, and we’re going to end with a Burlesque Drag Show!!! This is something you really don’t want to miss! (Note: the drag show is not family friendly)
-Food!!! We have food trucks just waiting for you to get some delicious food from them!
- And if you attend, you can win a $250 tattoo voucher!!
