Congratulations to Sofia Escogido for receiving Honorable Mention for Creativity at the 2026 TVCC Learning Symposium!!! She was recognized for her lighting design work from the fall production of Dracula! We are so proud of her work and her taking the time to share her work with the on campus academic community!

Congratulations to our TVCC Theatre Department students for representing Trinity Valley Community College at the American College Theatre Festival Conference!

During the conference, Reese Bryant, Kenzie Gracia, Claire Capeheart, E Robb, Jessie Wilson, and Jack Stephens presented a scene from Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy Really by Kate Hamill. A participating and held production TVCC was invited to present a scene from this production. TVCC’s Dracula was one of fourteen productions to be held in this last festival cycle out of 42 productions entered as participating. This puts TVCC in the top 27% of participating schools from the region - Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana. Invited Scene students received a response from Rachel Jett the Artistic Director of the National Theatre Institute.
