We've got three more Significant Seniors to introduce, students who were nominated by faculty and staff for their commitment not only to their education, but to Concord's motto "Come to Learn, Go to Serve."
Marin Fiddler is from Roanoke, VA and will graduate with her degree in nursing. Madison Hollis is from McMinnville, TN and will graduate with degrees in biology and health sciences. Abby Stovall is from Princeton, WV and will graduate with a degree in political science.
During their interview, these three had this to say about their time at Concord:
Marin Fiddler - “I plan to carry forward Concord’s values by being the best nurse I can be. We have some great professors here in the Nursing Department. I think they’ve modeled that very well. I just want to show that and represent Concord well, being the best nurse and having compassion and empathy.”
Madison Hollis - “Concord has been everything to me. I’ve really found my place here. I transferred here after my freshman year, coming into my sophomore year. At my old school, I didn’t really have people. I felt so disconnected from campus. I love this place; it is so homey. Everybody here is so willing to help. I really feel like I have stepped into myself here.”
Abby Stovall - “My time at Concord has given me an opportunity to grow as a person. It’s definitely been more than academic for me — not just learning through academics or individual positions, but actually being able to put experiences together and see how they work for time management, organization, and prioritization has really helped me grow in a more professional way, when you put all of that together.”
Congratulations to our Significant Seniors and all our graduates. Your alma matter is proud of your accomplishments and can't wait to see how you carry what you learned into the world.
