Information Technology Services is releasing a new anti-phishing tool you can use to report spam or phishing attempts you have received in your email. Beginning today you will see a Phish Alert report button in Outlook for desktop, Outlook for web, and Outlook for iOS and Android. Our email anti-spam systems are always working to filter out harmful and bogus emails but novel phishing attempts sometimes get through. If you suspect an email you have received is spam or a phishing attempt simply follow the instructions for your mail client and report the email. After you report an email it will be forwarded to IT where it will be investigated and deleted from your inbox. If the reported email is found to be spam or a phishing attempt, actions will be taken to prevent it from circulating to other Concord users.
