Our laboratory studies different aspects of emotion, motivation, and cognition. We are interested in determining how the brain differs in people with and with out psychiatric conditions. The lab is directed by Dr. Gregory Strauss, Professor of Psychology at the University of Georgia. We are currently recruiting women ages 29-64 to participate in studies examining emotion and cognition. Participant

s must not have been diagnosed with a psychiatric condition or had difficulty with alcohol or drug dependence in the past 6 months. Qualified individuals will earn $20 per hour for their participation, typically receiving a total of $60-$100 per study. Participants will be asked to complete a series of tasks on the computer that examine emotion and learning. The study will take approximately 4-5 hours in total to complete and it is possible to complete the study over multiple visits. This study has been approved by the University of Georgia Institutional Review Board (IRB). If you are interested in participating, please contact us at (phone number) or at [email protected].
