WGSS Graduate Organization

WGSS Graduate Organization This is the organization for students from different departments of Ohio University with academic interest in Women and Gender Studies.

The purpose of this organization is to support students pursuing education in Women and Gender studies to develop their insights, learning, training and experience. The goal is to create a synergy of student-initiated activities, education and practice. This association aims to be the meeting point of various background and discipline with an interest to pursue efforts that fall under the realm of

Women and Gender Studies. The overarching intention is to contribute to the support synthesis and dissemination of scholarship, praxis and activism that conduces to better understanding of to gender-related issues and impacts positive social change.
