Might an MA in philosophy be in your future? It's not too late to apply to the MA program in philosophy at Ohio University for fall, 2020. We are still considering applications on a rolling basis and have several Graduate Recruitment Scholarships for which you might qualify. A Graduate Recruitment Scholarship (GRS) covers tuition costs, whether resident or nonresident, for each semester awarded. Part of the funding is received as direct, partial tuition support, and part is spread throughout the semester as compensation for work performed.
The Master of Arts program has been offered by the Department of Philosophy at Ohio University for more than 65 years. Annual class size is typically four to six, allowing for substantial personal contact with the faculty. The program is especially strong in philosophy of science, logic, and moral, social, and political philosophy, but we also have excellent faculty in epistemology, philosophy of language and the history of philosophy.
