OHIO's brand new online Master of Science in Psychological Science program is beginning this fall. 🎉

The 30-credit, non-thesis degree can be completed in as few as four semesters and is built for working professionals who want to expand their knowledge.

OHIO Online student Artie Knapp, '04, is a children's author working with the Ohio University's Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service to give faculty the ability to incorporate one of his books into STEM programming for young students in the community. 🐢

The book, "Thurman Goes Green: A Turtle’s Guide to a Cleaner Planet," follows a turtle who learns about litter and pollution.

Artie is able to work on this collaboration while creating a bridge between his professional creative work and academic path.

Like mother, like daughter 🎓

It was an extra special commencement weekend for the Centeno family as mom Nichole and daughter Isabella both graduated from Ohio University. 💚

For Nichole, raising her three daughters has always been her priority. Watching her kids follow their academic dreams motivated her to follow her own by completing her online master's in higher education. 👩‍🎓

While Isabella is celebrating her bachelor's in special education (intervention specialist), she is also planning for the future: pursuing her master's in reading education, also through OHIO Online, starting in the fall.

Currently the Associate Director of Student Success at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, Nichole is excited to use the additional tools and knowledge from her degree to support students through their medical school journey.

The first graduates of the OHIO Patton College of Education's online Master's in School Counseling (MSC) earned their degrees this spring! 👏

The program is designed to give students more opportunity and increase accessibility while earning the necessary qualifications with fully online training. Their entrance into the field is meeting the country's shortage of school counselors.

The online MSC is the first online school counseling program in the state to receive accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs.
