Honored to have Cali as the Director and see the program continue to grow and thrive under her continued leadership!
Advancing the future of entrepreneurship at the University of Georgia! The Terry College of Business is pleased to announce Cali Brutz as the new director of the UGA Entrepreneurship Program.
A longtime educator and accomplished entrepreneur, Brutz has played a pivotal role in shaping experiential entrepreneurship at UGA, guiding hundreds of students through the process of launching and scaling ventures, while strengthening the program’s accelerator, funding, and mentorship ecosystem.
Her leadership marks an important moment of continuity and growth, building on the legacy of founding director Bob Pinckney. Through her work, the program has expanded opportunities for students to engage directly with venture creation, from managing investment funds to conducting due diligence for early-stage companies.
As Brutz notes, the entrepreneurial mindset—defined by the ability to recognize opportunity, create value, and navigate uncertainty—is no longer confined to startups alone, but is essential across industries and career paths.
With a continued focus on cross-campus collaboration, innovation, and applied learning, the UGA Entrepreneurship Program is well positioned to deepen its impact and further elevate UGA’s role in shaping the next generation of founders, innovators, and business leaders.
