We are proud to spotlight Bryce Laster, Class of 2027.

Bryce joins the Georgia MBA program as an active-duty Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. With 14 years of experience, including his recent role as Executive Officer of Coast Guard Station Monterey, he brings an incredible depth of expertise in strategic planning and crisis management to the Terry College of Business.

As a Response Ashore Officer specializing in complex maritime operations, Bryce chose the University of Georgia to bridge the gap between his operational background and the enterprise-level mindset needed for his continued service. For Bryce, the Georgia MBA stood out for its intentional focus on veteran success, small class sizes, and personalized support that made the transition to Athens seamless for his family.

Bryce is committed to being a resource for other active-duty members and their families, helping them navigate the transition to graduate school with confidence. We are honored to have his leadership and perspective in our community.

Meet Jiwon Park, the Director of our Career Management Center!

Jiwon brings a global, entrepreneurial lens to career management. Before Terry, he helped launch an e-commerce startup and co-led a nonprofit sending used T-shirts to kids in developing nations. He came to UGA for his MBA and joined the MBA Career Management Center in 2016, where, in his words, he got extremely lucky to be part of an amazing team. Ten months into his role as Director, his focus is simple: listen deeply to understand what the team, students, alumni, and employers actually need.
