The Sigma Phi Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority was founded in 1924, making it the fourth oldest sorority at the University of Georgia. Since the chapter's founding, the ladies of Sigma Phi have striven to uphold the founding principles of KD through their commitment to both the University and the Athens community. During the philanthropy round of rush this year, we had the opportunity to create coloring books for the children in the Athens area who are affected by domestic violence. We were so honored to be able to meet with David Earnest, the executive director of Prevent Child Abuse Athens, and provide over 1,000 coloring books for this remarkable organization.
