Starting this Tuesday (March 18th), Madison Carson's MFA thesis exhibition titled "More Geese Than Swans" will be on display at the Trisolini Gallery.

Please join us for Madison's opening reception, which will take place on Thursday, March 20th at 6:00pm.

The show will be on view until Friday, March 21st.

Welcome back, Bobcats! We'd like to start the school year off by introducing our incoming first-year graduate students. Up first we have Matthew Skelly.

Matthew Skelly graduated from Southern Oregon University in 2020 with a degree in Art. Since then, his work has been featured in exhibitions around the United States and abroad. Currently, he is focused on hand-building objects and decorating them with illustrative surfaces.

Welcome to the program, Matt! We're excited to see what you'll accomplish in your time here.

We would like to congratulate 4th year Makenna Burton in completing her undergraduate thesis!

Her exhibition, Data Lamps, will be on view in the Ohio University Art Gallery from April 22nd to April 26 as part of the group show Interwoven Realms. Her reception will be held on April 25th from 5-7pm.

She creates ceramic lamps with data visualization graphics transferred onto the surface. Burton uses digital graphics and ceramic works to explore and embrace organization, design, color, and structure. The clean design in both materials and disciplines results from a clear transmission of ideas, furthering her research. 

We would also like to congratulate both Makenna Burton and Jenna Tucker for being accepted into the Ohio University Art History Masters program beginning in fall 2024. We're excited to see what you both will do next!
