This Saturday, Chi Epsilon teamed up with the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists to present two civil engineering-related activities at our school's third annual Engineering and Technology Day. Chi Epsilon taught the kids about topography with an augmented reality sandbox. As the kids played in the sand, the projector above showed them the changes they made in the contour lines. AAEES made Chihuly art from old projector sheets to help the kids learn more ways to reuse plastic waste. Both clubs had a great time showing everyone what civil engineering has to offer and can't wait to be back next year!
