Congratulations to students Nick Haynes and Katelyn Sanders, faculty member Malissa Clark, and program alumni Andrea Hetrick on their most recent publication in Journal of Applied Psychology!

Hetrick, A. L., Haynes, N. J., Clark, M. A., & Sanders, K. N. (2023). The theoretical and empirical utility of dimension-based work–family conflict: A meta-analysis. Journal of Applied Psychology. Advance online publication.

Most work–family conflict (WFC) research does not theorize, hypothesize, or empirically test phenomena at the dimension level. Instead, researchers have predominantly used composite-level approaches based on the directions of WFC (work-to-family and family-to-work conflict). However, conceptualizi...

One of the objectives of our professional Master's program to equip those who are already accomplished in their own careers and industries with the I/O knowledge and skills needed to influence positive change in their own areas of the workforce.

Recently, we were lucky to get to teach (and learn from) Dr. Elizabeth Duggan, M.D., an amazingly talented anesthesiologist, educator, researcher, and leader. Dr. Duggan was the Chief of Service in General, Vascular, Transplant and Neuroanesthesiology Division at Emory University Hospital when she joined our program. She graduated in 2021 and has since worked to educate leaders in the field of anesthesiology on opportunities to implement I/O evidence-based best practices.

Our Graduate School recently produced this feature on the impact of Dr. Duggan's experience in the IOMP at UGA.

The UGA Graduate School offers an array of graduate programs to enhance and support current working professionals. The Professional Master’s Program in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (IOMP) is one such program, designed for working professionals seeking to pursue graduate education in a coll...
