We have been working hard all semester in preparation for our annual Kappa Crawfish Boil THIS Saturday from 12-3pm on the Kappa Lawn. All proceeds benefit Books for Keeps !!

Last year UGA Kappa raised over $56,500 as a group โ€” helping Books for Keeps expand into three new schools this spring! BFK gave away more than 75,000 books to children in Georgia. Many children in Athens unfortunately do not have the means or access to books that correlate with their reading level. Thus, many fall behind. Books for Keeps works directly for this purpose. We are so excited to be a part of a solution that is getting books into the hands of kids who need them most!

Please come to our KKG Crawfish boil tomorrow to help us accomplish our mission!!

โ€œI could have never imagined the profound impact that the University of Georgia would have on my life. You canโ€™t fully appreciate the culture here unless youโ€™ve been a part of it. Until you've experienced it, you don't know. You don't know the feeling of running to ring the chapel bell after a football victory, or even just making an A on a test. You don't know what it's like to walk around on campus and feel more at home than you have anywhere else in the world. You don't know that while Saturday may be THE day of the week in Athens, Sundays are even better... once the crowds are gone and the smoke has cleared. It's things like this that you can only fully understand once you've lived and appreciated themโ€“ once you too have been a student at the University of Georgia.
I will forever be grateful for the time Iโ€™ve had here at UGA. This university has given me the opportunity to grow not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. I have made friends that I would have never known, had I not taken advantage of the countless opportunities that UGA has afforded me. I have learned just as much outside of the classroom, as I have within it and I couldnโ€™t imagine spending my four years of undergrad anywhere else. I canโ€™t even begin to express how much this place and these people mean to me. Itโ€™s impossible to put into words. Once youโ€™ve lived it, you know. Go Dawgs!โ€ -Hanna Jon Lewis

Today is Presidentโ€™s Day for UGA Miracle! By midnight tonight, February 12th, all of the Greek Life Presidents on campus are competing to see who can raise the most money for UGA Miracle to benefit Childrenโ€™s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Last year, our KKG team raised over $12,718.99 with all of your help, and we would love to beat that number this year!
Any contribution will help, and all donations are tax deductible! Donating online is safe and easy at the following link.
Thank you for all your help as even a dollar makes a huge impact! Go dawgs, For the Kids!
