USGBC Students at UGA

USGBC Students at UGA USGBC Students at UGA As a student chapter of the United States Green Building Council, we provide resources to members preparing to take the LEED exam.

We combine these resources with community involvement events throughout the school year. For the 2016-2017 calendar year, we are seeking to further develop our investment in working for the public interest in order to create a positive social impact.

Tiny Homes + Tiny Foods with USGBC

Are you interested in learning more about the tiny house movement? Would you like to be a part of a green building organization on campus? Do you enjoy foods of the miniature variety? Meet the student chapter of USGBC while learning about tiny houses and eating tiny foods on Tuesday, November 15th, at 5:45 PM in JSB room 128.

Dr. Skobba, a professor in Housing and Consumer Economics, will deliver a lecture on the tiny house movement and tiny snacks will be provided. Parking in both the North Deck and the lot on S. Thomas Street will be free beginning at 5:30 PM, and we ask that you bring a canned good to support the CED collection drive to benefit the UGA Food Pantry. Hope to see you there!
